TRC INNOVATIONS INC. is a Florida based corporation created to manufacture and market truStroke swim training hand paddles to the competitive swimming community.
truStroke hand training paddles started with the desire to develop comfortable and effective training paddles, specifically with regard to strength development. The first prototype was a flat rectangular training paddle that was cut in two and a small metal hinge was used to connect the two pieces.
We had world class swimmers swim with this crude prototype. All were skeptical before getting in the water with them. But after swimming as few as 100 meters, every swimmer gave the crude prototype a positive review.
That valuable feedback was enough to encourage further design, development, and testing. After much research and testing, a prototype was developed and produced. Much work was done with the original prototype, including laboratory testing and thousands of meters with them in the pool. The prototype paddles far exceeded our expectations, especially with regard to stroke enhancement capacity and versatility. As a result of all this work, a few minor changes were made to the prototype and the results were the most comprehensive, effective, safest, and technologically advanced swim training hand paddle available to competitive swimmers and triathlete open water swimmers. truStroke hand paddles are unequaled for building swimming specific strength and improving stroke mechanics.
